 Updates: All New Electronics Self Teaching Guide

In a 400 + page book there's bound to be a few typo's, thanks to feedback from a few readers I've  put together a list. Starred items were fixed during reprinting of the book.

* Page 73; Corrected Figure 3-2:

Page 86; Problem 19E:

Ic = 300 µA, = 50

should read:

Ic = 300 mA,  β = 50

* Page 88:

 "2 N3643" should be "2N3643"

* Page 90:

"2 N3643" should be "2N3643"

Page 113; Problem 9:

 "you are using a lamp requiring 50 mA of current"

should read:

 "you are using a lamp requiring 20 mA of current"

Page 143, Question 1

RC = 1

should read:

RC = 1 k

Page 162; Question 6B:

L = 50 µF

should read:

L = 50 mH

Page 189; Problem 27:

"The input voltage in both cases is 20 Vpp."

should read:

The DC input voltage is 20 V, the AC input voltage is 10 Vpp."

Page 189; Figure 6-26 Right-hand figure (2):

600 Hz

should be:

60 Hz

Page 205; Answer 9D:

5 V

should be:

7 V

Page 209; Problem 2:

In the formula, keep in mind that X2 is (XL + XC)2

should be:

In the formula, keep in mind that X2 is (XL - XC)2

Corrected Figure 7-26:

Answer B:

Q = 10/0.01 = 100

should read:

Q = 10/0.1 = 100

Page 240; Answer 15:

fr = 30 Hz

should read:

fr = 30 kHz
